Efficiently Prepare Wool Fibers with Our Wooden Drum Carder
Drum carder for processing of wool made of high quality plywood 15 - 20 mm, drums covered with a one-piece high-quality uniform needle coating (not made in China!) The drum carder is assembled and configured for operation, you only need to screw on the handle (the handle was removed so that it's not damaged during delivery).

Well suited for preparing wool for felting, wool mixing of different colors and types, as well as for high-quality combing of wool. 96 TPI (96 needles per square inch) - considered a universal tool for combing wool, suitable for any complexity of wool (sheep, goat, llama, alpaca, etc).

I’ve been a spinner for 20 years and have owned 4 drum carders ranging from mini’s to powered cottage industry carders. But I’ve never had the average sized card. I’m very happy with the basic functionality of this carder. The quality is perfect for this type of equipment. The resulting wool is beautiful consistent batts and after 3 passes I’m pulling of impeccable roving. It’s low tech and really nice because of it. I will be able to repair it if anything breaks, it’s durable and functional and isn’t overly heavy. Worth the wait.
